So yesterday, I just uploaded a new song (Enigma) that I wrote this past few weeks on my youtube channel. But before I explain the meaning of this song, I want to put the video below this paragraph so you can listen to it first.
I originally wrote this song because of the English project from my school. Long story short, the project is about writing and presenting a persuasive proposal about a case that concerned us. So for the project, we must make a product that will help us persuade people to fight against the case that we already chose.
I chose bullying for my case in this assignment. The reason is because, after I did a research, I found out that most students, children, or teens experienced bullying at least once in their lifetime. I also found out that 1 in 4 teachers see nothing wrong with bullying and will only intervene 4% of the time. So after finding out those facts, I really want to make the number of bullying decrease, and that’s also why I made this song.
Starting from the title, the meaning of enigma itself is an unexplainable situation. And in my opinion, it’s perfect for the term bullying because the victims usually can’t explain what they have been going through.
While in the song, I explain about how hard it is to go through bullying. From having a major trust issue, have a feeling that she / he is neglected, and that it is not easy to fight back the bully. So with the song, I hope people can be more aware that bullying is a social problem that we need to solve together.
Hi! It has been almost 3 weeks since my last post were published on this blog, and I feel like I want to publish something now. So I just got the idea to make a blog post about the new song that I made and the story behind it.
Just for a short note, technically this wasn’t my actual first time making a song, but this was the first time I finished making a song completely, with the lyrics and full arrangement in a music sheet.

2. The Boys’ Round: from Children’s Christmas – Niels Gade (Grade 5)
To give a variation post between my Weekly Reflections, I will share to you three of my piano videos that I haven’t upload yet in this blog. These three piano videos consist of: (1) A cover of BTS’ song: Idol; (2) My favorite classical song: Blumenlied; and (3) A cover collaboration with Mamski using the song: Melati Suci. I hope you enjoy all of it!
